Hey, hey, ho there! We’ve some news to share with you on a couple projects we’ve been grinding on for the last few weeks. First off, Sproggiwood is well on its way toward iOS and Android! That’s right–soon you’ll be bathing in the slime-blood of your slain jelly foes, all from the comfort of your phone or tablet. To that end, we’ve been rejiggering the UI for smaller form factors.

 The mobile release will coincide with a PC, Mac, and Linux update, featuring a ridiculously difficult Savage Mode, and some… new items.

Wait a minute… we’re receiving an encoded message through the Weirdwire Conduit… decoding now… what’s that? Something about… Caves of Qud? Oh, Caves of Qud is coming to Steam! If you’re clueless as to what the heck I’m talking about, Caves of Qud is our far-future, sci-fi roguelike with fully malleable and destructable environments, hundreds of plants, animals, and robots you can mind control, and dozens of mutations, skills, kits, subsystems, and liquid mixtures that make each playthrough a mad, mad, mad, mad time.
Now that we’re getting Qud on Steam, we’re also working on supporting tiles and developing a unique tileset. We’re working with an awesome amateur artist — check it out!

And since we’re back to hacking on Qud, we’re adding some content, too. The faction system has been expanded–we added 50-some factions and wrote a reputation system to represent your relationship with each faction. We also added faction-based histories to named creatures when you look at them.
